Former Nigerian Head of State, Late Chief Ernest Shonekan was laid to rest today in Lagos.
Among the dignitaries at the funeral was former President Goodluck Jonathan; former Head of state, Yakubu Gowon and his wife, Victoria; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; secretary to the federation, Boss Mustapha; Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Others at the funeral include: Former Ogun State Governor and senator representing Ogun central, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun and wife, Olufunso; former Ogun State Governor, Otunmba Gbanga Daniel; and Former Kano State Governor, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.
