Adultery Scandal: Daddy Freeze finally responds to court judgment (Video)

Popular On-Air Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, has finally reacted to the court judgment on the adultery case against him.

A Rivers State High Court had ruled that the media personality should pay the sum of N5 million for adultery, amongst others. The court gave the ruling against him for having sex with Benedicta Elechi who was still legally married at the time it happened. Read More Here.

In a video he released on his Instagram page on Sunday, March 7, Daddy Freeze stated that he was never served by the court and that the judgment was given in his absence.

He also said that he will head to an appeal court and for that reason, he cannot speak much about the matter as he has confidence that judiciary will give a fair judgment on the matter.

He said, “Many of you would have been surprised as I was to wake up one morning and see a judgement from a Rivers State High Court. Well, the court never served me, so the judgement was obtained in my absence.

“What we will do now is go straight to the Appeal Court. A lot of people are unaware that the judgement is not final until it gets to the Supreme Court.

“I’m very confident in the judiciary system, and I do believe that I will receive a fair judgement.”

He also read out except of the court ruling on his divorce to debunk speculations that his first marriage to Opeyemi Olarinde broke down on grounds of adultery. He showed that marriage crashed on grounds of domestic violence.
