For hours on Easter Sunday, ‘Anambra’ was a top trending topic on Nigerian Twitter.
This was because some Nigerian ladies took to the micro-blogging platform to share the experiences they had from dating a man from Anambra state.
Many of the Ladies opined that Anambra men rate the approval of their mothers above even their love for a lady when it comes to marrying the women they are dating. So, they advise other ladies dating Anambra men to ensure they are on good side with the man’s mother as the matriarch more or less decides who her son marries.
The women also opined that most of such mothers also prefers their sons to marry a woman from their state.
