Some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to the unexpected landmark ruling delivered today by the Supreme court on the Bayelsa Governorship poll which held in November 2019.
A five-man panel headed by Justice Mary Odili sacked the David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress over certificate forgery committed by his running mate, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, thereby ruining their joint ticket.
In the ruling, the court ordered the withdrawal of the certificate of return issued to the APC candidates and a fresh one be issued to the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
