Beyonce, JayZ’s Daughter, Blue Ivy becomes an Award Winning Song Writer At 7

Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of power couple, Beyonce And JayZ is now an award-winning songwriter at the age of seven.

Blue Ivy won the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award at Sunday’s Soul Train Awards for co-writing her mom’s hit “Brown Skin Girl,” a song celebrating dark-and brown-skinned women.

She gives a vocal performance that opens and closes the song, which also features Wizkid and Saint Jhn.

The highly gifted Blue Ivy Carter who is very close to her mother has not yet publicly commented on winning her first award and her parents weren’t at the ceremony either.

This week could get even better for Ivy Carter as Grammy nominations will be revealed on Wednesday and “Brown Skin Girl” could earn the young star her first Grammy nomination.
