Breaking: Atletico Madrid knock Defending Champions, Liverpool out of Champions League

Atletico Madrid were impressive at Anfied on Wednesday as they knock defending Champion, Liverpool out of the Champions League after a 3-2 draw.

With the aggregate tying on 2-2, Liverpool needed to score to qualify, but it was the visitors who scored a heart-breaking goal.

Alvaro Morata slipped the ball to Marcos Llorente on the edge of the box and he found the right side of the net with a great effort. The score is 2-2 and 3-2 on aggregate in favour of Atletico Madrid.
