The Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma was reportedly attacked by some youths of Ohaji Egbema Local Government area of the state on Sunday.
Information gathered so far has it that some youths of Mmahu community on sighting the Governor’s convoy approaching, started shouting “Onye Oshi Vote, Onye Oshi Vote” (Vote robber) and also began to throw bottles and weapons on the Bullet proof SUV of the Governor.
Due to the rowdiness, the governor was not allowed to come down from the car as security operatives whisked him away immediately to avoid more damage.
