Nigeria has recorded 14 new cases of coronavirus cases which have now taken the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 288.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 13 cases were recorded in Lagos state while one case was recorded in Delta state.
“Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State
As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths” the NCDC tweeted.
The NCDC also disclosed that there was an error in the update it shared yesterday, Wednesday. According to the centre, the two new cases it recorded for Bauchi state on Wednesday were old cases, hence, the mistake has been corrected in today’s update.
