Alhaji Isa Harisu, representing Kebbe constituency in Sokoto state, has died aged 55 after he slumped at the State House of Assembly.
The deceased lawmaker who was elected on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), was said to have suddenly collapsed when he arrived the state House of Assembly on Monday to attend the House Parliamentary sitting.
Reports gathered reveal that the lawmaker died on the way to Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, where he was being rushed to.
His death was later officially announced at the floor of the House by Alhaji Abubakar Magaji, the Deputy Speaker of the House.
