DSS arrests Woman for threatening suicide bombing after Tribunal sacked Kano Governor

The Department of State Security (DSS) has taken into custody a 23-year-old woman identified as Fildausi Musa Ahamadu.

This action came after she issued threats to carry out a suicide bombing in response to the victory of the APC governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

She issued her threat following the verdict of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kano.
Sources, wishing to remain anonymous, have confirmed the arrest of Fildausi Ahamadu.

The suspect, Fildausi Ahamadu, conveyed her threats in a viral video where she expressed support for the NNPP candidate for governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

In the video, she was heard vehemently criticizing the presiding judge of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and even issued a warning that she would not hesitate to use a bomb.

Ahamadu also issued a direct warning to Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the APC Governorship candidate, stating, “You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with bomb vest to commit suicide.”

Furthermore, she targeted Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, holding him responsible for the legal challenges faced by the NNPP in Kano.
