Some elderly pensioners on Monday went on a protest and blocked a major road in Calabar, Cross River State, to demand the payment of their pension.
The elderly citizens who were spotted seating on plastic chairs on the road, were also heard shouting “No road” to motorists and singing, “All we are saying, pay us pension.”
