American philanthropist, Melinda Gates, who is also the wife of billionaire Bill Gates made a prediction at the weekend that the streets of Africa will be littered with dead bodies if enough help is not giving to the continent to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The billionaire philanthropist who said she believes the only way the planet will go back to ‘normal’ would be through a vaccine, added that the effects in the third world countries would be severe if world leaders don’t do something about it.
Speaking to CNN, Ms Gates said she is worried for Africa and fears that the continent might not be able to handle the devastating effect of COVID-19.
“Its going to be horrible in the developing world,” she warned. “Part of the reasons you are seeing the case numbers still do not look very bad, is because they don’t have access to many tests.
“Look at what is happening in Ecuador, they are putting bodies out on the streets, you are going to see that in countries in Africa,” Mrs Gates noted.
“I have been in townships all over Africa and slums. When we talk in country physical distancing and hand-washing, if you live in slums who can’t physical distance, you have to go out and get your meals. You don’t have clean water to wash your hands,” she added.
Reacting to the prediction of Ms Gates, formal Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode rebuked her and her husband, saying: “It is not in the streets of Africa that you will see dead bodies.“
In a video he shared on Twitter, FFK said: “We know what she wants to do. We know what her husband is doing. We know what they are planning to conceal in their magic vaccine which is actually designed to curb the population of the world.
“I will say this to Melinga Gates and Bill Gates, the Bible says: ‘Who is he that said a thing and it comes to pass when the Lord God of Host has commanded it not?’
“It is not in the streets of Africa that you will see dead bodies. We reject it and we return it back to you and those that sent you. We are children of the Living God. There is an invisible shield over our continent and over our nation, Nigeria. That shield was put forward by the watchers, by the generals in God’s army…We shall overcome.
