Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Thursday met with Super Eagles legend, Nwankwo Kanu.
Governor Bello took to Twitter to share photos of their meeting, saying Kanu presented him with his iconic number four jersey and an autographed football.
“I received in audience former @NGSuperEagles Captain @papilokanu in Abuja on Thursday, 18 March 2021. Kanu presented me jersey number 4 and a football with his autograph,” he said.
The purpose of the meeting was not immediately made clear. However, it is believed to be connected to the Arsenal legend’s charity work via the Kanu Heart Foundation.
