President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and many other leaders are all already at the Eagles Square, venue of the Democracy Day celebration.
The President who arrived at 10.04am, waited to receive other world leaders before taking salute on the Saluting Dais and rendition of the National anthem.
Notably, Former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan are both conspicuously absent from the event.
