Nigeria’s Pop star, Wizkid has also added his voice to strongly condemn the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and citizens of other African countries in South Africa.
The 29-year-old said this in a tweet on Tuesday which reads:
“Disheartening to watch these videos from my home! You’re fighting the wrong war , fighting the wrong people. How do we walk around hating each other? Africa is one! We’re all the same people! Pls don’t loose yourself! #SayNoToXenophobia One Love.”
Some other celebrities who have also condemned the attack include Olamide, Stella Damasus, Omoni Oboli, Yemi Alade, Adesua Etomi, Funke Akindele. South African artiste, Cassper Nyovest also condemned the attacks.
