INEC deletes data of Presidential results from BVAS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken a drastic step to clear their name in the ongoing suit against them. It has been discovered that the electoral body has deleted all data of the Presidential results from the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).

The running mate of Peter Obi, Labour Party’s (LP) flagbearer, Yusuf Datti, announced this on his Twitter page on Tuesday, 23rd May.

He added that there are many other sources of evidence other than the BVAS machines, and at the right time, they will be used.

He wrote, “INEC WIPED all the data of the presidential results in BIVAS, forgetting we have every poll unit result sheets, evidences re many. And there is backup on their server We are waiting for D right time to burst them.”
