Just in: Hushpuppy reportedly arrested in Dubai over alleged Covid-19 fraud (Video)

Dubai based Nigerian-born flamboyant socialite, Hushpuppy has reportedly been arrested in Dubai over an alleged COVID-19 fraud.

According to reports, funds meant for the purchase of COVID-19 ventilators to be used for patients suffering from the virus were dubiously diverted into personal accounts linked to the socialite and others.

A source familiar with the story said on twitter that the Interpol got involved with investigations in trailing Hushpuppy so as to have him arrested.

According to sources, the COVID-19 ventilator funds looted are up to the time of $35 Million. The source of the transaction is yet to be identified at the  time of this report.

Hushpuppy was apprehended today Tuesday alongside close associates, Efe and Woody, at his Dubai Versace apartment. A video of the Interpol at his Dubai apartment to arrest him has been circulating on social media.
