The Lagos State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew in all parts of the state starting from 4 pm today.
The governor made the announcement today, Tuesday, on 20th of October 2020 following the alleged degeneration of the #EndSARS protests.
Taking to Twitter, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu wrote:
“As government who is alive to it’s responsibility and has shown commitment to the #EndSars movement, we will not watch and allow anarchy in our state.
“I therefore declare a 24 hour curfew in the state starting from 4pm today, nobody except emergency responders and essential service providers should be found on the streets.”
