The Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope East local government area of Delta state has been assassinated.
Security sources disclosed that Ovie Wisdom Iroro was killed by yet to be identified persons on Wednesday night.
The deceased was from the same LGA with Chief Great Ogboru, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the last gubernatorial election in the state.
The incident is coming exactly one week after the PDP chairman for Olomu ward 1, Paul Onomuakpokpo was also killed by unknown gunmen a few meters away from the palace of the Owhorode of Olomu kingdom.
