Mbaitoli Councillors commend IMOLITES for coming out en mass for PVC registration, insist on supporting only credible candidates

The Former Mbaitoli Councillors Forum (MCF) has commended Mbaitoli people in particular and Imolites in general for coming out en mass to participate in the recently concluded Continuous Voter’s Registration.

Recall that last month, the Forum embarked on mobilization of Mbaitoli people who were yet to go for their PVC registration to do so before the deadline of July 31, 2022.

The forum in their meeting held at the weekend had in attendance their members who were the 34 Former Councillors of the autonomous communities in the LGA.

The group once again reiterated that they will only support credible candidates in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.

They also called on members of the public to jettison partisanship and support only credible and competent candidates who will work to bring the dividends of democracy to the LGA and State.

Speaking to the press after their meeting in Mbaitoli, the leader of the Forum, Rt Hon Chigozie Anukuru said the need to elect leaders that will bring development and employment opportunities to the LGA has become urgent.
“We are out to sensitize our people to look beyond monetary inducement and party, and vote only credible leaders into the various positions in 2023,” he added.
