Ngozi Clara Opara makes pledge to women on Mother’s Day

Hon Ngozi Clara Opara has joined Catholics to celebrate mothers on this year’s Christian Mother’s Day Celebration.

The blogger and 2023 House of Assembly aspirant hoping to represent Mbaitoli Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly praised mothers for their roles in building lives, homes and society and promised to make laws that will uplift women if elected.

In her statement released on Sunday, April 24, Opara who is running via the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) said;

“Mothers are builders. They have played major roles in building lives, homes and societies for generations. Even when the world didn’t recognize their strength and abilities, they continued to offer their love, talent, skills and careers to build their homes and the society.

“On a day like this, we are compelled to remember the sacrifices mothers make and celebrate them.

“This is why, as a woman who feels and sees the enormous challenges mothers face everyday, I have made ‘Sustainable Youth/Women Economic Empowerment Legislation’ an integral part of my mission if I am elected to represent Mbaitoli in Imo State House of Assembly.

“I pledge to make laws that will uplift our women and young people because I believe that will be the best way to support our mothers sustainably.”
