Niger Commissioner looking terrified as she received a COVID-19 vaccine (Photos)

The Niger State Commissioner for Transport, Hajiya Rahamatu Muhammad Yar’adua was pictured receiving the covid19 jab during the launch of COVID-19 vaccination at the Government House, Minna on Wednesday, March 10. 

However, in the photo which has gone viral, Rahamatu Muhammad Yar’adua who is also the former Commissioner of Investment, Commerce & Industry and Mineral Resources, was looking terrified and trying to get away as the vaccine was being administered on her. 

Meanwhile, the vaccine was also administered on the State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello by his physician, Dr Shehu Ahmed.

The Governor was vaccinated alongside members of the state executive council. 

Also, in Ekiti state, Governor Fayemi and top officials of the state government have received their first jabs of the Covid-19 vaccine.

The vaccination programme kicked off in Nigeria on Friday, March 5 with physicians from the National Hospital in Abuja receiving the vaccines first.
