Residents from communities in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state were captured as they trooped out in large number to scoop palm oil which spilled on the road from a tanker.
The residents, not minding the possible contamination of the oil rushed to the spot where it spilled and began scooping into the various cans they brought.
Some people were even seen stepping directly on the spilled oil as the scooping went on.
The video which is already going viral on social media, has got many people talking. Most of the decrying the dirty attitudes of the residents of that community.
Some other people blamed their act on the ongoing lockdown across the country, questioning what the people could have done when their government refused to provide for them while there is sit-at-home.
