Nigerians have taken to social media to express outrage after seeing school children lined up on the streets of Makurdi as the wait and sing ahead of the arrival of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that Tinubu, on Monday, announced that he will be in the state to condole with the people of the state following the gruesome murder of about 200 people by suspected Fulani herdsmen who invaded the Yelwata community.
To make things so despicable, the state government had earlier declared today a public holiday. Yet, pupils and students in Makurdi were made to come out in their school uniforms to welcome the President, braving poor weather conditions, with cars splashing water on some of them.
