Ramadan: Omokri to suspend #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has announced the decision to temporarily suspend the #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest which he and other Nigerians in London started to keep President Muhammadu Buhari on house arrest and ensure he didn’t see a doctor.

The protest started after Buhari arrived London for medical check up and ‘take a rest’. The protesters are demanding that the president return to London and fix the Nigerian health sector and stop patronizing foreign doctors.

Announcing the suspension of the protest on Tuesday, April 13, Omokri wrote on Twitter:

“Due to the Ramadan fast which began today, we have decider to temporarily suspend #HarassBuhariOutofLondon to allow General @MBuhari observe his fast in peace. I call on @YeleSowore’s #BuhariMustGo group to consider this. If he makes an attempt to see his doctors, we will resume”

Meanwhile some of his followers did not agree with the decision and replied with their disapproval.
