Seven-Up Bottling Company has announced a donation of one million bottles of Aquafina drinking water brand and other drinks in its portfolio to the Lagos State Emergency Food Relief.
The other one million bottles, according to the company, will be donated to other states to support containment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement released by the company, it said the donation was to aid efforts to cater for citizens in vulnerable communities during this COVID-19 pandemic.
The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Ziad Maalouf, said the gesture was to affirm the firm’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during the tough time.
He expressed gratitude to those at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, stating “SBC believes that we are stronger together when we take collective action to help each other stay safe.”
