As selected workers get set to resume work on Monday, the Nigeria’s minister of state for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has advised them to take charge of their own safety and not leave it in the hands of others.
He advised the workers to assume that the virus is everywhere, hence the need to take personal precaution in safeguarding themselves.
Keyamo wrote: “I respectfully urge all workers resuming duties on Monday to take charge of their own environments. Do not assume others have taken the necessary precautions. DO IT YOURSELF. The virus IS NOT DEFEATED. Every object, every surface is a suspect. Just imagine the virus is EVERYWHERE”
