A certain teenager identified as Ibrahim Hashimu has been nabbed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) of the Nasarawa State Command for allegedly violating a 4-year-old girl in the state.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the NSCDC, DSC Jerry Victor made the situation known to the press on Friday, April 28.
The 18-year-old reportedly committed the disgraceful act on Saturday, April 22, at Angwan Magaji, along Emir’s palace, Lafia.
The PRO explained that the victim was seen seriously crying and with bloodstains on her body. She later told her mother what had happened to her.
He added that upon receiving the information, the Command dashed into an immediate search and investigation which led to the successful arrest of the suspect. He has since been brought to the NSCDC office for interrogation. The suspect has reportedly confessed to committing the crime and has pleaded for mercy.
