A terrifying moment an alligator got out of murky Florida waters towards a 7-year-old boy who was fishing in his own back garden of their Palm Coast home was captured in a short video shared online
The little boy, Dawson, had just caught a fish and was reeling it in when an alligator emerged from the water and snatched the fish.
Luckily, Dawson escaped unhurt but the alligator grabbed his fishing pole and the fish he caught.
Dawson’s father, Sean McMahon shared the video on Facebook.
“Dawson caught a bass tonight and out of nowhere an alligator came up, ate the bass and ripped his pole into the water!” the dad said.
