The Best positions to sleep

To sleep well:
•Lie on your back
•Lie on your side
•Use one soft pillow.

As you go to bed: Never sleep face down. Never use high pillows. Never sleep hanging your neck on a couch or chair handle. This is why you wake up with neck and shoulder pain like a tractor fell on you.

The sleeping position you adopt and practise is strongly related to the quality of sleep you get.

But generally as a rule of thumb, the best positions for good sleep are on your back or on your side. Why? These positions are less stressful on your spine than sleeping face down.

So, if you are already getting neck pain and shoulder pain from bad sleeping posture, now is the time to change your position. Sleep on your side. Or on your back.
