There is nothing to restore or rebuild in Imo, I have come to work – Uche Nwosu

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance in Imo State, His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has explained that there is absolutely nothing to rebuild, recover or restore in Imo, but work to be done in order to move Imo State forward. He said this while speaking during a debate organized by the Clement Owunna Campaign Organization (COCO) at the Police Field Okigwe.

The real estate development expert and award winning town planner argued that anyone who is talking of Rebuilding, Restoring or Recovering is either ignorant of what Imo really needs at this time or such a person has no plans to work for the good of Imo people but to loot public funds for their personal benefits, while leaving ordinary people of Imo State to suffer.

“I am not coming to recover anything, because nothing is missing, I will not rebuild, but to build better things for our people, I am not also coming to restore because restoring may mean the restoration of school fees in our schools, restoring kidnapping and poverty which were rife before His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha took over in 2011. I have come to work, because governance is all about work. I have come to work for the better prosperity of our people. To create jobs, to create wealth and most importantly, to ensure that there is food on the table of the poor masses.”

He also unveiled an audacious work plan that includes policies on Agriculture, Education, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Economy, Security and social welfare, promising to sign a social contract with communities and critical organizations in the State to ensure rapid development and prosperity of the greatest number of people.

Members of the COCO organization were obviously excited with his clear visions for the State and greeted his speech with thunderous applauses of approval.

Leaving the venue of the debate, he had unplanned campaign stop overs in several towns in Nkwere, Isu, Njaba and Nwangele Federal Constituency where he charged the youths on the importance of protecting their votes, in order to ensure that those politicians notorious for vote stealing do not succeed this time around. In his words;

“Elections are around the corner and we are campaigning vigorously in all nooks and crannies of the State, because we do not have an alternate plan to winning in a free and fair contest, but the other people are busy running from one INEC office to another office in Abuja seeking how to rig elections. You must not allow them to succeed!”

The youth leaders assured that they will remain vigilant and that any politician who plans to rig the coming election will have them to contend with. One of the youth leaders declared that this is the election of the youths and the youths have completely owned the Ugwumba Uche Nwosu project as theirs.

According to Comrade Patrick Ugoji; “We are prepared and ready for them. We shall vote and police our votes for you and anyone who thinks he is going to write results from Abuja should be ready to face the wrath of the youths.”
