There is heavy security beef up at the residence of late President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State, as they await his body.
The remains of the late President is expected to arrive from London any moment now.
At Buhari’s Daura residence, on Tuesday morning, July 15, officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) and men of the Nigerian Army were seen stationed at the entrance, DailyTrust reports.
Policemen and men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were also positioned at strategic places.
A source from the compound confirmed to the publication that the digging of the grave had commenced.
When Buhari’s body arrives, he will be received by President Bola Tinubu at Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina.
