Uzodinma leads other Southeast APC leaders to Anambra ahead of Guber polls

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State will lead other Southeast leaders and Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Anambra State on Friday

Following the decision reached in a meeting held recently in Owerri, Imo State, the Southeast Stakeholders agreed to go and address the Anambra State stakeholders of the party in Awka, on the need to come together as one body ahead of November governorship election.

Other Stakeholders expected to be part of the meeting in Anambra include former governors Orji Uzor Kalu and Rochas Okorocha of Abia and Imo States.

Others are: Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Senators and House of Representatives members of APC from the five Southeast, among others.

The meeting would be addressed by the Anambra State stakeholders including Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment among others

According to reports, messages about the meeting have already been sent to all the Stakeholders, including the governorship aspirants, as at today, Tuesday.

The meeting which would hold at one of Hotels along the Enugu -Onitsha expressway, would have all those contesting for the Anambra governorship election present

Meanwhile, the Caretaker Chairman of APC in the State, Chief Basil Ejidike, had maintained that his duty was to get it right for APC in Anambra State, using the November election as a stepping stone.
