Veteran Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu is dead. He died on Tuesday evening, January 26.
He was said to have fainted and never woke up. His body is currently being conveyed to his hometown for burial.
Ernest battled with his health for years after he suffered a stroke. He was in and out of the hospital for a number of years.
During the time, funds were raised to assist him as he battled with his ailment. The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), his colleagues and other concerned Nigerians also assisted financially during the time.
In February 2020, the First Lady of Anambra state Ebelechukwu Obiano paid a visit to actor at the hospital and took care of his medical bills.
