In a video now shared online, Christian said,

“Yesterday, we went to commiserate with one of our colleagues who lost his mother. On our way back, two of my friends suggested that we stop somewhere along the road to drink. After drinking, one guy from class of 2009 who sells fish there was just there when the guy arrived the place and shot him there. We all started running for our lives. As we were running, we later thought that the shooters have left, we decided to go and turn and car and leave the place. This was happening around 7 to 8pm.

“As we were reversing our car to leave the place, the shooters arrived again. They started telling us, “come down, come down”. We all came down from the car. Then they started shooting sporadically. They even took one of my guy, C.J Nwosu. Lockily for me, they only hit my head. That was how it happened.”
