Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has accused the United States Government under Barack Obama of overwhelmingly interfering in the 2015 general election, causing him to lose to Mohammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall that Jonathan lost his reelection bid to the then newly formed APC, putting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that had governed Nigeria since 1999, into opposition.
Speaking about the loss in a recent interview, Jonathan said the kidnap of the Chibok girls was politicized and Michelle Obama joining the #BringBackOurGirls Campaign helped blow it out of proportion.

Reacting to the video, one of the conveners of #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Aisha Yesufu blamed Jonathan for his election loss.
