A distraught mother has cried out to the pubic for help after tracing her missing child to a Police Station where she is told to provide N200K for retrieval.
According to the woman identified as Joy Nmaduabuchi Ihenacho whose son got missing almost four years ago, she came across a Facebook post that had the face of her child. In the post, it said the baby was found and taken to one Alakara Police Station, Idi Oro, Mushin.
The ecstatic mother dashed to the Police station to retrieve her son with proof that includes birth certificate and photographs, only to be told by the police that the child has been handed over to another from Imo States who claims to be the mother.
The Police, however, assured the retrieval of the kid but at a cost of two hundred thousand naira.
