WHO Resumes clinical trials of Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 (video)

The World Health Organisation (WHO), has lifted the suspension of clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for coronavirus (COVID-19).

The resumption of the clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for coronavirus (COVID-19) was announced by WHO’s Director-General, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus.

Ghebreyesus, who spoke in a video shared on the official twitter account of the UN health agency, said the hydroxychloroquine section of WHO’s Solidarity Trial can resume after being paused temporarily on May 25.
