Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living faith chapel (Winners’ Chapel) has questioned the rational behind government’s decision to open markets and still keep churches closed.
In the video which is already going viral on the internet, Bishop Oyedepo is heard lamenting seriously about why the government will stop people from worshiping for just 2 hours while markets are opened for 6 hours.
In his words “There is something wrong.. For people to be allowed in the market for 6 hours and can’t be in church for 2 hours… its an upside down way of looking at things”
The 65-year-old clergyman went on to say that the foundation in Christ is very important to tackle critical situations like this, adding that that the growth and expansion of the church is a headache for the devil.
He further asked, which is more orderly between a market and a church? ‘I smell a rat’ he added
