Xenophobia: Tiwa Savage cancels DSTV show in South Africa

Afro-pop queen, Tiwa Savage has also taken a stand to condemn the recent xenophonic attacks on Nigerians and other African foreigners in South Africa.

In her reaction to the unfortunate incident, Savage has announced her decision to cancel her scheduled performance at the upcoming DSTV delicious festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September.

She also commiserated with the victims and families of all those affected by the attacks. She wrote on Twitter;

“I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
