The lawmaker representing Bakura Constituency at the Zamfara House of Assembly, Tukur Jekada, has died aged of 60.
The lawmaker who was the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, died on Sunday after a brief illness.
Jekada has already been buried in his hometown, Birnin Tudu in Bakura Local Government, according to Islamic rites.
