Zamfara state no longer has an active coronavirus case after discharging its last five patients who successfully received treatment and recovered from the dreaded disease.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday May 29, Zamfara has recorded a total of 71 recoveries and five deaths.
The state which recorded its first Coronavirus case in April 24, 2020, announced on Saturday May 30, that with its latest discharge, it no longer has any active case of COVID-19.
Although Zamfara is placed on 18th position on table of highest figure of confirmed cases as at 30th of May, the state is now the second state after Kebbi to have no active COVID-19 case.
