President Muhammadu Buhari will by 7pm today, Monday, April 13th, address Nigerians as many awaits the next line of action over the two weeks lockdown declared in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun which expires today.
Many are wondering whether the lockdown which was imposed to curb the spread of Coronavirus would be extended or lifted. Also, Nigerians are eager to know the plans of the government in tackling hunger arising from the lockdown.
A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in Abuja, Monday said, “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm.
“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
Please Do not come and give us hope again, People are suffering because of this lock-down without support.
