Flagbearer collapses at King Charles' coronation

A flagbearer reportedly caused some commotion as he collapsed at the coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla.

The scene was captured as flagbearer laid on the floor in the carpet grass field in the Abbey. He was still dressed in his red regalia with pairs of black trousers and black shoes. His colleagues were also seen coming to his rescue.

The coronation of King Charles was held at Westminster Abbey, London, today being Saturday, 6th May, 2023. And it marked the first in Britain since the last about 70 years ago (in 1953) which saw late Queen Elizabeth, his mother, crowned.

Also, his 75-year-old wife, Camilla, was crowned by Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, as the Queen. This was soon after Charles’ was crowned sovereign head of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms.

The Big Lunch and coronation concert have also been scheduled to take place tomorrow being Sunday, 7th May, 2023.
