A beautiful baby girl was reportedly found by the roadside after her single mother abandoned her due to financial difficulty in raising her.
Although the report didn’t state where and when the baby was found, the note left by the mother revealed that the baby is named Purity.
The single mother stated in the note that she had to abandon her baby because she could not bear the financial burden as the baby’s father has not been supportive.
She wrote: “I have reached a point where I have to abandon my daughter. I have not received any support from the father or family. I am a poor person & I hope a good Samaritan will adopt her. Her name is Purity. God bless you” the mother of the abandoned baby wrote.
A social media commenter later revealed that the mother who identified herself as Ruth was later found and reunited with her daughter as well-meaning Nigerians have supported her to sustain her child.
