Gbenga Daniel, the campaign manager for Atiku Abubakar during the 2019 presidential election, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his longtime political party, for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Daniel who is a two-time former governor under PDP picked the APC’s membership card on Tuesday in Sagamu.
The decision was that Mr. Daniel will pick up the party’s membership before ongoing registration exercise expires.
He will be receiving party chairman and Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni and about three other APC governors as part of the political move, which would leave the PDP without a visible leader in the Gateway State.
