Reno Omokri accuses Peter Obi of causing unemployment in Kano

Reno Omokri has accused the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi of having a hand in the unemployment in Kano State.

Mr Omokri made the insinuation in a tweet he released on his verified Twitter account on Friday, December 16.

According Omokri, “Dangote Tomato paste factory in Kano had to close shop due to massive importation of cheaper foreign tomato paste from Europe.” He went on to state that Mr Obi has a hand in the clossure of the factory because, according to Omokri, Obi imports “cheaper foreign tomato paste”.

His tweet reads:

“Dangote Tomato paste factory in Kano had to close shop due to massive importation of cheaper foreign tomato paste from Europe. Guess who is behind that importation? Peter Obi. And he expects the millions of Kano people affected by his exploitation to vote for him?”

Interestingly, many took to the comment section of the tweet to fire back at him for his claims.

Joshua Etiguagu replied, “Shot yourself lol, is imported products supposed to be cheaper?, If it’s cheaper then it’s a plus to PO campaign because he is reducing the cost of food for the masses. He’s actually in the business of pulling people out of poverty before now lol, thank you reno”.

Many Twitter users supported Joshua as seen in the replies below.
