Students of the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) have raised alarm over the suffocation and death of their fellow students who were made to gather in an over crowded hall while attempting to write a GST exam on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Students took to social media to share videos and photos from the horrible scene as images of unconscious students flooded everywhere.
Footage shared online show hundreds of students struggling to get a space in the hall for the exam.
During the struggle, it was reported that eight students fainted, some got injured, and some suffocated to death.
Videos also show some students carrying their unconscious students out to the open space so they can get air. Some allegedly never regained consciousness.
