Boko Haram leader, Shekau critically ill, begs Nigerians to pray for him – says Borno Pastor

A reverend of Anglican Church of Nigeria in Borno state, Desmond Yunana in his Sunday sermon stated that Boko Haram factional leader Abubakar Sheaku is critically ill and wants Nigerians to pray for him to get well.

Recall that a captured teenage fighter, Mohammed Adam had told security officials that Shekau can no longer walk effectively after he suffered serious injury when Nigerian troops attacked one of their hide outs.

While deliverying a semon, The Cable quoted Reverend Yunana saying that he received a revelation on the health challenges Shekau is currently facing.

He added that the Boko Haram leader needs prayers from both Christian and Muslims residents of Maiduguri and is ready to ask for forgiveness.
