The 333 students kidnaped in Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State have been rescured.
This was disclosed by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.
She broke the news on Twitter this afternoon. She wrote:
“Yaaaay . The 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued . Allhamdulilah ! @MBuhari administration has brought back our boys. #BringBackOurBoys . Our boys are back“
Earlier today, HumAngle reported that the Abubakar Shekau-led faction of Boko Haram released a video confirming that it has custody of the students and was ready for negotiation.
The six minutes and 30 seconds video featured speeches from Shekau and one of the schoolboys who looked distraught and bloodied.
